By now, surely everyone has come across one or two Harlem Shake videos on the Internet. If not, it is well worth checking them out. The idea is very simple and easy to imitate. All using the same 30 seconds of sound, thousands of people have made videos jumping around their house, the underground, public squares, schools or swimming pools.

However, the most amazing thing about the Harlem Shake is that it gets people to do things they would have never thought of otherwise; like throwing bricks into running washing machines or making a mess in the kitchen on a Saturday night.
