AA Conversations selects one unmissable event for you to attend this week
17 March 2015 Architectural Association, London   As the Term 2 Public Programme comes to a close this week, the must-see event is a roundtable discussion between Berlin-based architects Frank Barkow and Regine Leibinger, architecture editor and critic Carson Chan, graphic designer Zak Kyes and Brett Steele about the newly launched monograph of Barkow Liebinger's work Spielraum. The eponymous lecture on Thursday evening will discuss the content and production of the book and how it reflects the themes of play and invention in the practice's work.   After starting the week with 4th year previews, the lectures this week only begin on Wednesday afternoon with the next session in the Embedded Intelligence lecture series that employ the format of a google hangout to create trans-Atlantic conversations between New York and London. At 3pm in the New Soft Room, Mike Weinstock will discuss Fabrication Intelligence. Later that day at 6pm Theo and Stephen Spyropoulos will lecture on the work of their practice Minimaforms in a talk with a Hans Hollein-inspired title: All is Architecture. Then on Friday to close this term's programme John Palmesino and Ann-Sofi Ronnskog's think tank Plan the Planet will hold a half day symposium in the lecture hall looking at Jaqueline Tyrwhitt and the Formation of International and Global Architecture.   See the Events List to find out more or check the AA website to find out What’s On.
