TERM 1 WEEK 11 EDIT Edit

AA Conversations selects one unmissable event for you to attend this week
TERM 1 WEEK 11 EDIT
7 December 2015 Architectural Association, London   It's the penultimate week of term and the unmissable event this week has to be the last lecture of the term on Monday evening - Practice not Perfect by TYPE Studio. TYPE was started by Sam Nelson who graduated from the AA with Honours in 2012, and Tom Powell who he studied with at Bath University where they did their Part 1. The lecture which is part of our What's Next series that invites graduates, both recent and established, back to the AA to discuss their unique forms of practice, will look at how TYPE was set up and the different projects that the practice has worked on over the past few years. It's a busy time of year for everyone but it's a nice chance to take an hour off, listen to an engaging and inspiring lecture, and have some free drinks afterwards - we hope to see you there!   Also this week, Elisa Valero launches her new title Light in Architecture: The Intangible Material in the AA Bookshop on Wednesday evening and on Friday Will Wiles takes his Malign Interiors Night School Book Club to the Sir John Soane's Museum to read The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson.   See the Events List to find out more or check the AA website to find out What’s On.
