AA Conversations selects one unmissable event for you to attend this week
08 December 2014 Architectural Association, London   In the penultimate week of this term, the unmissable lecture of the week is the last instalment of the What's Next series that sees Max Kahlen and Chris Dyvik return to the AA on Tuesday evening to discuss six projects from their practice Dyvik Kahlen Architects, and how they relate to the work they did while students at the AA. Titled 'A kitchen table, a small-house, a foyer, a twin-house, a warehouse and artist studio,' their lecture will span the built and unbuilt questioning how a practice can be simultaneously both practical and speculative, always allowing a certain amount of flexibility for the unknown or unpredictable.

Also this week are tonight's talk by Vittorio Lampugnani on The Craft of Urban Design, reinvented as well as a Monday night run club as part of Night School's programme of events, which also includes Eyal and Ines Weizman's book club on Wednesday evening. On Thursday evening, Sylvia Lavin's lecture will launch her new title Flash in the Pan, which is the latest publication in the Architecture Words series. And to wrap up this term's Public Programme, the PhD students led by Elif Erdine and Ali Farzaneh will hold their symposium on Algorithms & Actualisation starting in the Lecture Hall on Friday morning at 11am.

See the Events List to find out more or check the AA website to find out What’s On.   please note: the Nadav Kander lecture advertised on the Term 1 poster has been cancelled due to his photoshoot being extended on location.
