THROUGH THE PEEPHOLE: UNBUILDING LONDON
05 September 2014 Architectural Association, London   Unit 6 dissected the complexity, perversity and provocative nature of history through an investigation of London’s multiple pasts. Through direct contact the group unpeeled the layers of London to expose the hidden qualities of the City. As the group weaved through the Square Mile, observations were shared in the courtyards of churches, atop shining shopping arcades and on the edges of vast construction sites. Within the walls of Bedford Square, critical opinions became optimistic attitudes and compelling constructions in the form of images, urban plans and spatial and material scenarios told alternative narratives of both what London once was and what its potential future could be.   AA-SS14-Unit-6-004s   For more information: Summer School 2014 – The Unbuilt Summer School 2014 Unit 6 Brief   AA SS14 Unit 6 002s   Students: Fiona Cheung, Mark Gill, Tom Parker, Jonathan Wilson, Cherylene M.
